Mom Takeover! O_O

...Well, kind of; it's still me making this post XD

But what I'm not doing is appearing in this week's episodes; the reason being, that in my place, someone is making their long overdue Seriously Cereal debut: Jennifer! ^_^

Kind of weird that the person who came up with this idea in the first place has yet to appear on the show beyond a cameo as the cinematographer, huh? :P But yes, it's true, Jennifer has finally agreed to film some episodes, and personally I'm very happy she's done so. You should be able to try some cereals too, Jennifer! ;D

One last thing before we get to the episode breakdowns, is that I'd like to thank you all for the wonderful replies to May's certificate email. I love introducing new characters, and I was very happy to see this one make such a great first impression... even if he'd never do so in-universe ;)

ANYWAY! Onto this week's episodes! And Jennifer's definitely joined us at the right time, because this Seriously Saturday is giving us some seriously out-there cereals ^_^

And first up, it's Kellogg's official Spongebob Squarepants Cereal! :D

Coincidentally, Brianne is joining Jennifer for this review, which fits because Brianne loves Spongebob Squarepants (which she'll let you know if you ever bring it up ;D). This cereal is apparently a tie-in to a brand new Spongebob film that recently released; to celebrate, Kellogg's released this vanilla flavored cereal, complete with marshmallows in the shape of Spongebob, Patrick, and... Spongebob's house. o_o

You know, all those shapes are kind of weird not gonna lie. Like, why would you want to eat these beloved characters? Let alone one of said characters' house. That just seems illogical :| But hey, it's here now, and as we all know Brianne loves her marshmallow cereals, so odd shapes aside, how does this hold up compared to its classic source materiel? Go to and see for yourself ^_^

And as for the next cereal, it may not be as sweet or as iconic as a Spongebob cereal, but it's definitely a different brand of cereal from what we're used to: It's Trader Joe's Mixed Berry Granola!

Talk about a contrast here: One of these cereals is a sweet, marshmallow-filled tie-in cereal, and another is Trader Joe's signature granola with berries! These are like, direct opposites XD

Trader Joe's actually prides itself on its granola, with it being the first ever private label (store brand) product they ever sold. So, naturally, I'd say it's safe to say they'd put some serious effort into making it the best it can be. Do they deliver on their promise of quality products? You can find out right here:

Alright, that's about all I have to talk about this week! And by the way, I should stress that I won't be gone from the show forever; in fact, there's a few episodes coming up that feature Jennifer and I reviewing some pretty unique (Sorta) cereals in their own right :D

This week's questions are: Have you ever tried a cereal that tasted differently than you thought it would, and have you ever mixed two cereals to create your own? Leave a comment below this post, and I'll respond within 24 hours ^_^

Thanks for reading everyone, and I hope you have a great Seriously Saturday :)
