Frosted Flakes, International Iteration!

Have you ever wondered if the cereals you know and love differ outside of your own country? Maybe there's a slight variation in the recipe, or its name is ever so different than what you grew up with. Well, today, Faith and I leave the familiar world of American cereals, and try a variation of Frosted Flakes familiar in Spanish-speaking countries: None other than Zucaritas!

In last week's blog, I mentioned that this episode would be a Seriously Cereal first. And indeed it is; Zucaritas marks the first time we're ever reviewing cereal as it's sold outside America! And as long-time viewers will likely recall, this episode has been in the making for a long time. Don't worry, though; the box is fresh :)

And this isn't just a first for Seriously Cereal, either! Me and Faith have never tried an international cereal before now! So as you can imagine, going into this episode I was incredibly curious to see whether Zucaritas had any noticeable difference compared to Frosted Flakes... or, I guess "taste" would be a better verb in this context? :3

If possible, I would love to review more cereals like this in the future. Maybe this could become an annual thing? Who knows, really! But the point stands that this was definitely a fascinating experience, and my knowledge of cereals is heightened because of it ^_^

Before I go, don't forget to keep an eye on your email if you're a supporter! November's certificate will be sent out by the end of the day, and this one is definitely a must-have (spoilers: It may or may not finally feature a certain vegetable character I've been teasing ;D).

Anyway, that's it for this week. If you have any questions or just want to talk, feel free to sign in and leave a comment below. Have a fantastic Seriously Saturday; I'll talk with you again soon :)
