A Chocolatey Blog Post!

Hey, everyone, hope your March has been going well so far! In this household, there's been no time to rest! With our Month of Mimicry over, it's time to move onto our next theme! This time, we've chosen a much more delicious subject matter. One that some of you may have figured out from the subtle sneak peak our 200th episode provided:


Yep! Welcome to our Month of Chocolate, where we're kicking things off with Special K Chocolatey Delight! :D

That url has "Pup" in it-- even in chocolate month, we still have to deal with dogs! D:


It goes without saying that we've covered plenty of chocolate cereals on this show in the past. But this month, it's our goal to really go in-depth with the history of chocolate, as well as how it's used in cereal. I mean, did you know that for something to be legally called "chocolate" it has to have at least 35% cocoa solids? I thought that was super cool ^_^


The other fun part about this theme, as I mentioned in the episode, was that for much of my childhood I actually couldn't eat cocoa! And while I don't exactly scarf down chocolate 24/7 now, this month is a great opportunity for me to share the experience of being able to finally try these cereals :)
